before THE rant begins, i want to point out that all of my dolls are lesbian, some of them are on aroace spectrum. also they are NOT the same characters from cartoons!!! i'm sorry, i'm too lazy to watch them, i create their personality and stories myself ;P

i've started collecting dolls since i was a little kid!! i remember my first two monster high dolls, i got them as new year presents. they were basic operetta and abbey, too lazy to check from which line she's from (and i don't have her anyway now, but i still got her clothes!!). i also remember that i got that year another non-monster high doll, but i didn't care about her at all XD. i had my priorities, alright... and after that my family bought me some more dolls. surprisingly, almost every of my childhood dolls lived to see this day, except abbey from picture day (yep, i googled), deuce and draculaura from scaris city of frights (in total, i have three dolls from that line, only clawdeen survived) and basic gigi grant (i'm gonna be honest, i'm still upset that i lost her. i mean, i miss all of my lost dolls, but her THE most).

besides mh, i have three dolls from ever after high: apple white, briar beauty and cupid. i didn't really liked them, so i was a little dissapointed when my family bought then. also i was 9-10 at that time, so i was more responsible (well, that's not the word, i guess 'less careless with their clothing, shoes and accs' would go better) with my dolls, so that's why all of these three clothes AND even shoes are intact. sadly, i lost some of the accesories (i actually broke briar's glasses and even filmed it afterwards, but i don't have that footage anymore :c), which is impressive, cuz for my first mh dolls i have like one piece of clothing and that's it, no shoes, no nothing.

i love all of my childhood mh and eah dolls, even though they somehow survived my hairstylist era. i was like 10-11, i believe? so i was OBSESSED with DIY videos about making stuff for dolls, like furniture, clothes etc (and i, obviously, didn't make anything). what i did learn from these videos, however, is to how take care of dolls' hair (like boil-washing them, baby powder method, you ger it). so i tried it... i have some memories from that time. i was sitting in kitchen, drowning these poor girlies in water, having 0 idea what i was doing. can you blame me though, i was like 10, i still don't have any idea what i'm doing while styling my dolls' hair. but that poor washing wasn't the worst part. not even pouring baby powder on my dolls' hair was the worst part (despite never washing it out, that baby powder stayed on them for eight more years). my child self said that this isn't enough, i HAVE to CUT their hair. look, i'm not against that, i'm actually the opposite, i gave my melody doll a haircut a week ago. but... the end results of that massacre in 2015... i just had a flashback when i cut operetta's hair in the sink in my old parents' bathroom LMAO my god, that was horrible. i didn't do that to all of them, but i did modificate frankie (actually i think i did that to both of them... OH MY GOD I DID AHAHAHA FUCK. okay, but the haircut on frankie 13 wishes looks so natural. damn, i ate that. also the second one is from ghoul spirit line and, fun fact, her hair condition was the best out of all of my childhood dolls when i found them three years ago. it's because i loved her the most when i was a kid), operetta, briar, apple, cupid, and the most damaged ones are lagoona and spectra. see, with all of the rest i didn't really cut that much, just a little bit. the last two, however... i managed to make lagoona's hair look good, but spectra's... it's extremely uneven, i don't understand what i was even trying to do. i'm thinking of cutting it again, just to make it at least look even. also briar suffered from this, but the worst thing about her hair is it's greasness, not haircut.

my first new doll was dracubecca, which i wanted since i was a child, i DREAMT of her, so buying her was an obvious choice. i love her so much, she might be my fav g1 doll ever. my last ones are lagoona and clawdeen from monster ball. i decided to get over g1 cuz buying them at reasonable price is impossible, it's g3 era now. besides mh g3, i got lol omg and tweens, my melody, lalaloopsy (got one as a gift), funko pops and winx believix from kinder. rn i'm waiting and praying for wild childz international release (or any release at this point)

my collection consists of 25 dolls (5 of which are in boxes) and 11 figurines. my shelf is handmade by my grandad, so it is very unique. not every doll has a backstory yet, but i am working on it ;J i want to create a graph of their relationships with each other, but i'm afraid that will be a complicated and long process.
